Jersey Shore

I've been back to my old and very bad habit of sleeping in the wee hours of the morning...:(

It really makes me sad to think that just a little while back, I was adopting such a great lifestyle of waking up at 8am every morning and sleeping early, and enough every night!!!

But now, I'm not even close to that!!! :(

In fact, its 4.30am and here I am blogging...

Anyway, one of the things that have been keeping me up at night is this new show that I found whilst reading my magazines!

Jersey Shore from MTV!

It's REALLY REALLY trashy, all the girls are pretty ugly and all the guys are gross. And everyone is making out ALL THE TIME, or getting into fights the rest of the time...But I LOVE trashy shows!

I am a VERY trashy show kinda girl! Haha. You can ask ANYBODY! I would watch reality tv over  the Discovery channel any day, any time! Haha.

Anyway Jersey Shore basically just documents the lives of 8 individuals from all over the USA, who live together for the summer in Jersey Shore. Apparently, they all think they are "guidos" and "guidettes"!

This is an example of a definition of Guido and Guidette that I found from urbandictionary.com!

Guido:

an Italian American man usually residing in New York or New Jersey. He wears shirts that are too tight and unbuttoned 5 buttons too low to show off the chest that he spent hours and hours at the gym obtaining, he spends more time on his hair than his girlfriend, and continues to "hit the clubs" long into his mid to late 30's. Often attracted to the female version of himself, the guidette.

Guidette:

A girl version of 'Guido.' Mainly found in New York lands or the Jersey Shore areas. These girls are excessive tanners, usually jet black or dark hair. They have fake boobs that don't fit in their shirts. Also, shirts are short at the stomach for tacky belly button rings to be exposed. Brands like 'Ed Hardy', 'Gucci', and 'Juicy Couture' are of a Guidette's favorites. Not only are these girls skanky, but they are incredibly annoying. With their New York/Jersey (very Italian-cavone accents) they don't keep their mouths shut (and in THAT way, too).

Well anyway, I really can't stand Mike "The Situation"!!! He calls himself that, because apparently, he thinks his abs are "the situation"! 0_0! He's a typical MCP and thinks he is oh-so-hot. He has serious self-esteem issues I think. Haha.

Angelina, the girl closest to the right, left the show in the 2nd/3rd episode I think? She was SO annoying anyway. Couldn't stand her!!! She's also another one who thinks she is so hot, but actually she's so annoying and can't seem to shut up.

My favourite girls I would say are Nicole "Snooki", because she is highly entertaining and...

Jenni "JWoww", because she seems nice (behind the exterior of her HUGE FAKE BOOBS!!!) ,even though she always looks so fierce...but yes, I like those two girls! Haha.

And for the boys, I would pick Pauly D! I think he's actually quite cute, if only he didn't gel his hair like that!!! I think each time he uses gel, it's enough to last someone else for their whole lifetime of gel-use!

Anyway, Lift & Style did an article on Jersey Shore and they also did a mini celebrity inspired makeover on each of them!
